Welcome to One Small Step and thanks for visiting our website, buying children’s shoes and footwear can be a difficult task for busy parents, sometimes the choice can be limited and finding a shoe your kids like, that’s the perfect fit, looks stylish and lasts long enough for their feet to outgrow them can seem impossible! Our aim from the beginning has always been to offer a range of quality brands and styles from the best manufacturers across Europe, the US and Canada with professional fitting, exceptional customer service and a warm, child friendly environment to make things just a little bit easier. We have spent a lot of time researching all our brands, styles and products to make sure we stock the kind of footwear mums, dads and of course children will love!
Our shop is located in the beautiful spa town of Buxton in the heart of the Peak District we are open Monday - Friday 9am to 5-30pm and Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.
